  2. Environment

    What it is like to stay on Sowenna, details of your bedroom, meal times, break times, what to bring with you, prohibited items and your treatment
  3. Parent/carer liaison

    Rather than assessment and treatment for a young person at Sowenna being seen in isolation, Sowenna strives to include parents and carers in the care of young people.
  4. Wave

    During term time, all young people at Sowenna are expected to continue learning. We think that learning is a lifelong process and is part of your treatment here.
  5. Research Projects

    We are co-designing and developing a series of VR environments with young people who have mental health problems for deployment in the Sowenna Unit.
